My husband and I feel that Annette is an exceptional, wonderful Interior Designer. I couldn't be happier with the work she has done for us.

One room which she decorated had previously been done by another decorator. None of my family ever liked the way this room had been decorated. When Annette came, the room was full of storage boxes. Now, she has turned it into a room that our family LOVES! When relaxing in our "rec room", people frequently hear me honestly say, "What could be better than this!" In this room, we used my older, oriental rug that I liked, and Annette built the room around it -- with comfortable seating for eight , a flat screen tv, an electric fireplace, and a coffee table whose top lifts up for eating, writing, or doing puzzles. It's perfect for us and our family!

Annette even encouraged me and gave me instructions and the confidence to make the drapes for this room, as well as for my son's bedroom. I had rarely sewn since in the ninth grade -- and I'm retired...By the way, they turned out great. I get compliments on them when people come over, and they don't know I actually made them.

Also, when Annette and I worked together, I found that she didn't intimidate me into always going with her ideas. When I told her I didn't like something, she didn't get angry, or even upset, but was kind and we explored other options. Annette always has a smile on her face and she's a good Christian, very important. My husband and I are very happy with Annette's work and would highly recommend her as an Interior Designer.

Annette Wheeler of Inspired Designs, is an extremely talented and gifted designer. I faced a daunting task when I inherited numerous pieces of antique furniture and wanted to make sure the pieces did not seem overly formal or out of fashion. In addition, I moved into a new house and needed to make sure everything tied together in a relaxed and colorful manner. Annette worked with me for months in selecting paint for the walls, fabrics for the furniture, area rugs, counter tops for the kitchen and tile for the floor. The end result is stunning. Each room flows into the other. I am constantly complimented by friends on the interior of the house and I absolutely love it. It is everything I have ever wanted and more.

Annette is so very skilled at helping guide the homeowner in selections and explaining why one color or one texture will or will not work in a particular setting. I highly recommend Annette.

I have known Annette Wheeler for the past seven years, mostly as a dear personal friend, but on occasion as a designer as well. She is a strong, dedicated and delightful woman to know and ALWAYS has a wonderful story to tell. As for designing, she listens to your needs and desires and incorporates her knowledge, wisdom and experience to help things in your home flow well.

She gives excellent referrals for where to go to get the best of everything, she seems to know everyone everywhere. She has a special touch to make the ordinary look extraordinary, and has a reputation for the most exquisite draperies. She works very diligently until the job is done right. She has even gone over and above, personally in teaching and helping me recover some chairs before my mother came into town. She is a very caring and thoughtful women.

One situation I distinctively remember is when we were in a designer crisis. My husband Terry and I were attempting to reorganize our living room furniture and couldn't get the sofa and chairs to work the way we wanted with the odd space provide. We honestly spent hours trying to make it look right and fit. There was disorganized furniture everywhere. We got to arguing and were very frustrated. I knew there was an answer out there, but we couldn't figure it out. Annette, our Super Designer, came over right away to help us in our dilemma. She wasn't even in our home for one minute and solved the problem immediately by just angling the sofa from the wall which made everything flow naturally! Wow! She saved the day! She saved our marriage!

To this day the furniture remains in the same place because it worked so well. Annette has an intuitive way of designing spaces that most do not have. I would highly recommend her to anyone who really wants their home to look beautiful, coordinate well and be comfortable. She is a keeper! I love Annette!
