Meet Annette B. Wheeler
As a North Florida native, Annette became interested in design when she babysat for an interior designer. She would look at his drawings in an attempt to simplify or even enhance his work. Annette earned her degree in interior design from Florida State University and has worked in the business for over thirty years.
Her husband's military career as a pilot caused for many moves to duty stations around the globe, offering Annette experiences which only enhanced her education. In addition to time spent as an in-house designer for several up-scale furniture stores in Colorado, Guam, Texas, and Florida, Annette has taught courses on the college level regarding the basics of interior design. She has also been an active guest speaker in communities which she has lived.
In 1998, with the encouragement of her family and friends, Annette founded Inspired Designs. Specializing in residential design, she has been known to take on projects of any size. Her goals with her clients are to use their existing amenities and personal treasures while incorporating the fundamentals of interior design.
Being a business owner of Clay County, FL, Annette is a founding member of Clay Women in Business and has held several director positions. Currently she serves on the Membership Enrichment committee.
